Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and any inquiry, scheduling request, document review, or service coordination with Boston Apostille & Notary Concierge. By using this website or requesting service, you agree to these terms.

Services

Boston Apostille & Notary Concierge provides appointment-based mobile notary, apostille concierge, and certified translation services, subject to availability, document review, location review where applicable, readiness confirmation, language availability, and applicable legal or operational requirements.

No Guarantee of Service

Submitting a form, calling, texting, emailing, or sending documents for review does not guarantee acceptance of a request, confirmation of an appointment, pricing, or turnaround. Services are provided only after review and final confirmation.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and complete information

  • confirming the signer is physically present for notarial services

  • confirming the signer is aware and willing for notarial services

  • ensuring valid unexpired identification is available when notarization is required

  • ensuring documents are ready for review

  • ensuring required witnesses are present, if applicable

  • confirming any location access requirements in advance

  • confirming the required destination country, language pair, deadline, or receiving authority requirements when relevant

No Legal or Immigration Advice

We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice, immigration advice, document preparation, or advice about which legal document, notarial act, apostille path, translation certification, or authentication method is required. If you are unsure, you must confirm with the document issuer, attorney, receiving agency, court, school, consulate, embassy, employer, or other appropriate authority.

Notarial Service Limitations

All notarial services are subject to identity verification, personal appearance, willingness, awareness, document review, and compliance with applicable requirements at the time of service. We reserve the right to refuse service when legal requirements are not met.

Translation Service Limitations

Certified translation services are subject to document review, language availability, formatting requirements, deadline feasibility, and final confirmation. We do not guarantee acceptance of translated documents by any court, agency, employer, school, consulate, embassy, or other receiving authority.

Pricing

Pricing depends on the service requested, timing, travel, urgency, coordination required, language pair where applicable, document condition, number of pages or documents, courier needs, and other operational factors. Quotes may include service fees, travel fees, rush fees, translation fees, certification fees, courier fees, wait time, or other applicable charges.

Pricing is quoted in advance based on the requested service, timing, travel, urgency, coordination, and document-related requirements. Boston Apostille & Notary Concierge does not add a separate credit card surcharge for card payments. Any available discount for Zelle, cash, check, or similar payment methods must be clearly disclosed before payment and may not be available for all requests.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are communicated before service begins. For mobile notary appointments, payment is required before travel begins unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. For apostille concierge and certified translation services, payment terms may include advance payment, deposits, stage-based billing, or full prepayment depending on the nature of the request.

Payments may be accepted by Zelle, cash, card, payment link, invoice, or another approved method. Card payments and payment links may be processed through third-party payment processors such as Square or other payment platforms. By submitting payment, the client agrees to the quoted service amount, the applicable cancellation policy, the readiness requirements, and any nonrefundable fees disclosed before payment.

Deposits and Advance Payment

Some appointments or service requests may require a deposit or advance payment before service is scheduled, before document handling begins, or before dispatch.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service when:
•    legal or operational requirements are not met
•    the signer cannot be properly identified
•    the signer does not appear aware or willing
•    documents are incomplete in a way that prevents service
•    the requested language pair or deadline cannot be accommodated
•    the situation appears unsafe, inappropriate, misleading, or noncompliant
•    required readiness conditions are not met
•    payment terms are not satisfied

Payment Responsibility

Clients remain responsible for all approved and applicable fees once service preparation, travel, document review, handling, coordination, active processing, or dispatch has begun.
For mobile notary appointments, payment is required before travel begins. If the requested service cannot be completed because required conditions were not met, the travel fee is not refundable.

For apostille concierge services, once service has started, fees paid for review, handling, coordination, processing, courier activity, or related work are nonrefundable.
For certified translation services, once translation work, review, formatting, certification, or coordination has started, fees paid are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

If a client has a concern about a charge, service, cancellation, readiness issue, or refund request, the client agrees to contact Boston Apostille & Notary Concierge first so the issue can be reviewed. Filing a card dispute or chargeback does not cancel the client’s responsibility for approved, completed, dispatched, or nonrefundable services. We reserve the right to provide invoices, receipts, appointment records, text confirmations, readiness confirmations, service notes, and other documentation in response to payment disputes.
