Apostille Support for Massachusetts Documents

Boston Apostille & Notary Concierge helps clients coordinate apostille processing for eligible Massachusetts documents intended for international use. We assist individuals, families, attorneys, businesses, and other clients who need a clearer, more organized process for handling documents going overseas.

Many international document matters involve more than one step. Depending on the request, support may also include mobile notarization, certified translation, pickup, delivery, or other document coordination. Our goal is to make the process easier to manage through one clear point of contact.

What Is an Apostille?

An apostille is a certification used to authenticate certain documents for use in countries that participate in the Hague Apostille Convention.

In simple terms, it helps confirm that a document issued, notarized, or certified in the United States can be recognized for official use in another country, depending on that country’s requirements.

Important Note
Not every document follows the same path. The correct process depends on the type of document, where it was issued, whether it must be notarized first, whether translation may be required, and the country where it will be used.

Documents Commonly Submitted for Apostille

We assist with apostille coordination for many common document types, including:

  • Birth certificates

  • Marriage certificates

  • Death certificates

  • Divorce decrees

  • Diplomas and transcripts

  • Powers of attorney

  • Affidavits

  • Business and corporate documents

  • School records

  • Permission letters

  • Adoption-related documents

  • Other eligible Massachusetts documents intended for international use

Important Note

Some documents must be notarized before apostille processing, while others must be obtained as certified records from the proper issuing authority. Some clients may also need certified translation depending on the receiving country or institution.
